HOPE serves the working poor, many clients who have never been in crisis before and the homeless. We believe in equipping individuals and families with the tools necessary to get them through their crisis by offering case management, financial assistance and access to additional resources.
Community support allows us to help those who may not qualify for other assistance programs but who are still in crisis due to job loss or medical issues. HOPE’s prevention model has proven effective in preventing homelessness due to foreclosure and providing direct client assistance in an effort to keep families in their homes.
HOPE collaborates with other service agencies, working together through best practices to identify needs and provide guidance. HOPE also assists with applications for food stamps, health care, job search and educational opportunities.
HOPE’s focus is on prevention and promoting accountability so our families are able to take the steps necessary to move on to self-sufficiency. We believe that by doing this we can build stronger and safer communities.
