HOPE's Food Pantry provides nonperishable food, produce, meat and fresh bread, 4-days per week, all at no charge. We have also implemented the following programs:
"Kids of HOPE" Enrichment Program: During each school break throughout the year, students who typically receive free or reduced lunch at school are able to pick up free, healthy lunches at HOPE.
HOPE's Emergency Network System (HENS): HENS provides outreach to those who are elderly, disabled or suffering from medical issues, and are home-bound and unable to access HOPE’s services. Weekly visits are given to those who meet the criteria of the program.
The food pantry and food outreach programs are run with the support of many churches, schools, businesses, local government, civic groups and individuals in the community who organize food drives and donate throughout the year. The pantry is supported by a large team of dedicated volunteers who run the daily operations and coordinate pick-ups.
We also partner with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and TEFAP, The Emergency Food Assistance Program.
